Oblivious.

Exactly four times a day.  Four times a day of passing him through the hallways. Four times of seeing him, being near him.

Continuously aching to talk to him, and laugh with him.

Seeing him with his friends, smiling and laughing.

Unaware of the girl that passes him with wide hazel eyes, smiling, trying to ignore the feeling of her heart stopping when she sees him.

She turns around at the exact moment her heart is breaking, shattered into a million pieces.

When she realizes that he didn’t even notice. He never will.

She’s just a shadow to him. An echo of a thousand other faces that he sees in the hallways.

She will never be anything except another face to him.

She falls deeper in love everyday and he is oblivious.

Soon after Summer is School

I think that things are changing for the better. I really do. Do you guys? Everything feels.. in place this year. It’s amazing. I’m just so happy. Definitely not used to it. But hey, I’m not about to complain.

“You say that you love rain, but you open your umbrella.
You say that you love the sun, but you find a shady spot when it shines down.
You say that you love the wind, but you close the windows when it blows.
This is why I’m afraid, you say you love me too.”

Why We Worry

From day to day you may hear people claim that they “aren’t beautiful enough” or “aren’t skinny enough”. It may be just a normal thing to hear because everyone at one time has said something similar to this. Should it be a normal thing though? I mean, everyone has a different look (I could throw a million statements in here such as, “No two people are alike” but I’ll refrain). That means everyone is something different from the inside out. So why do we cast off some and idolize others? Does one person control who gets to be the fairest of them all?

Say you have a garden of flowers and they’re all different, but the gardener only chooses one lucky flower to put in a vase on her table. What about the others? Are they automatically ugly because the gardener didn’t pick them? Of course not.

Why should it be this way then? Throwing others down because they were the “unfortunate ones”. We should be lifting them up and saying, “You’re the ones that are alive. You’re the ones that are spared. You’re the ones that are so radiant you needed to be left to brighten someone’s day. “

I wish that you would see it this way. Even though some may be talked about more than you. It doesn’t mean that you aren’t as beautiful. You don’t have to be “skinny” or “hot“. You have to be you. Your beautiful self. Please don’t think that you need to impress someone just to be noticed. Please don’t think that you need to be a certain way. Please understand that you excel and you dominate what any other lucky flower couldn’t do. Which is ironic because you’re just being you.

To Be Defined

Everyone in the World is defined.

They all have names. Some might be rich, poor, famous, shy, fat, loud, pretty, smart, dumb, etc…

Even though everybody acts like they can’t be defined by others, they are. See, defining seems like a pretty word for judging. They judge you based on everything. You and I may be guilty of doing this. It’s been going on for so long that the rest of the World just follows along with old traditions. Then they give bad names to those who try to stop it.

Crazy, right?

So those of us who try to stop the nonsense, or so called judging, then get called “unnameable”, or “avoidable” in terms of everyone that we’ve upset with our non judgement. *notice more judgement after being accused*

So there really is no way of getting rid of these stereotypical names for everyone. Unless, we have a crazy epidemic in which people’s brains are wiped.  I wish it was easier and we could just see people and understand. We don’t have to call people out on what they should already know. Sure, it’s nice to hear, “You’re pretty” occasionally. But defining that person by one word and moving on is not okay. You can’t get to know that person if all you’re focused on is, “pretty”. That would be hard, on the person and on yourself.

Just look at others and understand that it’s not humanly possible to be defined by one.single.word. Humans have personalities and those come with a lot of words. Would you like to be described with one word?

Instrumental Music

I’m in love with Instrumental music lately. I’ve realized that not only with instrumental music can you create your own words to the song. But you can also create a scenario of something happening. Almost like a book. In a way it is a book. Book make you create pictures in your mind. But these you can create whatever you want as long as it fits the theme. I love it. My favorite is Explosions in the Sky. They have the perfect music to create a story to. PERFECT. I love every one of their songs, and they’re all somewhat different. So no Image matter what there will always be a different story to it.

Probably not.

I don’t let people read the things I write and I suppose, is that selfish? I just mean.. I would probably be told that my grammar is horrendous or that my wording is mismatched and it doesn’t make sense. But in my head I’m Stephen Chbosky. I adore writing, I really do. But it’s hard to come up with things to write about everyday. Normal people would write about drama, sports, or just their day in general. But that is so boring. I cannot and will not write about that. So if you’re here for the sports scores, cooking recipes, or gossip on the web, this is definitely not the right place. Sorry about that. (not really) I won’t post things everyday. I won’t always have correct grammar or the correct wording and, that’s ok with me.
